The Great Region One Food Drive

In alignment with the enduring vision of Gene Roddenberry—a future liberated from poverty, injustice, and hunger—this initiative is a call to action for all chapters to contribute to their local food banks or other larger charitable organizations such as the Salvation Army.
Mission Objectives:

Participation: Every chapter is encouraged to engage by donating to their local food banks or other larger charitable organizations such as the Salvation Army.. Whether large or small, every contribution is vital in helping those in need and embodies the spirit of exploration and betterment that Starfleet represents.

Recognition: A Certificate of Excellence will be awarded to the chapter demonstrating the highest level of generosity per member. This will be calculated by dividing the total pounds of food donated by the number of chapter members. Second and third place recognitions will also be awarded.

Reporting: You may submit your figures weekly, monthly, or at the end of the drive. You may either submit your totals by weight or monetary donation.
