The First Brigade consists STARFLEET Marine groups located within Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia. These groups take on various forms, from the usual Marine Strike Group (MSG) on an active chapter, to a Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) a unit independent of any chapter (membership in STARFLEET is required, remember). In addition there are several branches to which Marine Groups can belong. These are Aerospace, Armor, Combat Engineering, Combined Arms, Headquarters (BDE only), Infantry, Maritime Operations, Maritime Service, Mecha, Medical, Special Operations and Support.
