RDC Program Director
Position overview:
The RDC Program Director is in charge of overseeing the entire RDC Program. This role involves announcing open positions, selecting new RDCs from applicants, and maintaining regular communication with the RDCs. The Program Director is available to help any RDC facing challenges or in need of support. Additionally, they handle complaints, suggestions, and other feedback from individuals in the region. It is the Program Director’s responsibility to ensure that the RDC Program runs smoothly within the program and the region.
The Program Director may choose to keep in touch with the RDCs through various methods such as newsletters, memos, emails, Facebook groups, or Discord. Furthermore, the Program Director will contribute regular articles about the RDC program to the Region One newsletter “Hailing Frequencies Open”, and occasionally to the Starfleet Communiqué. Additionally, the coordinator is tasked with gathering monthly reports from each RDC and submitting a combined report to the Region One Director of Operations each month.
To be eligible for the role of RDC Program Director, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- STARFLEET member in good standing for at least 2 years
- Membership on a Chapter within R/1 (can be correspondence)
- Completion of OTS/OCC and SFDPP training.
- Reliable internet service.
- Strong leadership abilities
- Adept organizational skills.
- Competent communication abilities.
- Able to collaborate with others (Be a Team Player)
- Adherence to STARFLEET Officer’s Rules of Conduct.
- Age requirement: Must be over 21 years old.
